GENERAL FITNESS/CONDITIONING
This program is for healthy adults that want to be physically active, lose weight or gain muscles, improve general fitness and health status, prevent injuries and diseases, or relax the mind and body.
ATHLETIC ENHANCEMENT
Physical preparedness has a great influence on an athlete’s ability to master sport specific technique and skill, and to apply chosen playing strategy. It also greatly affects an athlete’s mental state and competitive drive.
If you want to be stronger, more explosive, faster, more agile, more flexible or endurable, than you need strength and conditioning training.
CORRECTIVE EXERCISE
Corrective exercise training is training that aims to improve posture and movement faults observed during static and dynamic assessment. It’s appropriate for every client, from patients to athletes. This type of training finds and treats muscular imbalances, which are often the cause of movement impairments and pain.
If your heels rise up, or your lower legs turn out and feet flatten, or you have a weight shift to one side while you squat, if your pelvis drops or hikes while you stand on one leg, if your knees go inwards while you land after a jump, then you need corrective exercise to improve the biomechanics of your movement, which in most cases will take your pain away, improve your performance and decrease the risk of injury.
EXERCISE THERAPY
Kinesitherapy, or exercise therapy, is therapy that uses movement to treat pain, dysfunction, injuries and diseases. It’s the most powerful part of physiotherapy, cause passive treatments are designed to cure the symptom, while active are designed to treat the cause. Exercise therapy is training adapted to your specific problem, based on indications, contraindications, stage of rehabilitation, etc.
If you are preparing for an orhopedic surgery, or you already head a surgery, if you have low back pain, discogenic problems, neck pain, headache, knee pain, shoulder pain, postural problems, etc., then you need exercise therapy.
YOUTH TRAINING
Youth training is for children 7+.
Some children just need more physical activity. Some need to learn how to properly run, jump, move around, develop coordination, speed or any other physical ability. Some have a posture problem - scoliosis, kyphosis, lordosis, flat feet, etc.
All of them need to play. To learn and train through play.
